What is [StartupDigest]?
[Startup Digest] is a curated weekly email digest of the best startup events in 39 cities around the world. We don’t feature all of the events — only the best ones.
This week they featured events like, TechCrunch Meetup Manila, Roofcamp, Exist Code Camp and DevCon Philippines. There is also a Startup Profile and this week they featured:
Piclyf is a photo contextualization and sharing platform (think dailybooth meets foursquare). We let you publicly or privately publish information-rich photos with check-ins and polling. Info such as date, time, geolocation, captions, keywords, names of people in it, and even speech (bubbles). Its co-founded by Eric Clark Su, BJ Basañes and Andrew dela Serna.

Agree with Terence on building a strong technopreneur community. Perhaps through informal meetups, technologists and entrepreneurs will find ways to help each other.
John, thanks for posting this. Much appreciated. We PH-based hackers/entrepreneurs need to start sharing ideas and building a community and not be so afraid of people “stealing” our ideas.
