Here in the Philippines, I only know two that can provide you fundings or help for your startup. They are:
In Asia, I only know JFDI.
So besides this, where can you get your fundings?

I met James Chan from Singapore last 2010, James is Principal at Neoteny Labs, which manages an early-stage venture fund focused on consumer Internet startups, Mobile Apps in Asia.
- IdeaSpace Philippines "Group where technopreneurs in the Philippines and beyond can share their ideas for the next global Filipino corporation."
- NarraVC - "Invest in private high-technology companies with potential for strong growth"
- Global Gateway Venture Capital - Bridging Asia's innovators to the World.
- phiLabs - incubator that provides idea stage capital for smart ideas
Kung may job/registered business ka pa naman, how about loans from banks?
And kung student, you can ask for student loans din.
And just like what the admin said, friendsThat network you worked so hard to build will now have a purpose hehe
With those given, I can conclude that bootstrapping your startup is the best way to fund your own startup (funds from friends, family, loans).
I think Globe Incubator which is supported by Globe, SingTel, and Ayala networks is also one of these.
Globe Incubator is called "Kickstart Ventures" They offer facilities, seed funding, mentorship and business connection

IdeaSpace by Smart.
I'd rather look for individual angel investors or partners rather than clinging to the globe incubator or ideaspace.ph - both backed up by Globe & Smart. Looks very shady in all areas. They might just be looking for some patents that they can acquire cheap.
No offense meant to those who shared.
20% is not bad at all, the bad thing about these guys is they always want something in return
they want security and cash and yes “some patents that they can acquire in cheap!”
They want their idea not yours and telling you to do this and do that that will almost trash your idea and kill you for being an artist.
Lesson learned from being a Linchpin!
