The Apps for Asia event in our country had already reached its final conclusion. Our country can now proudly send its representatives for the Annual Meeting of the ADB Board of Governors in Delhi, India on May 2-5, 2013. With Apps for Asia, every ISV can unleash and maximize his potential in creating software or applications that can greatly contribute to the society, economy, commercial and enterprise industries, as well as the government and its citizens. Each winning team of the 40 member developing countries will have the privilege to join and witness the software technology showcase event in India.
Without much further ado, Here are the following teams that won the Apps for Asia event in Manila. Team Codetoki triumphantly grabbed first place. Codetoki is a Cebu-based tech startup wherein Filipino students can enhance their IT skills. Codetoki’s real-world setting website is also open for hackers and developers who are wishing to improve their coding, developing and programming skills. The team received a cash prize worth 100,000 PHP.
As for the second place, Blood Donors Network was able to pique the interest of the panel. Blood Donors Network provides immediate access to the database of regular blood donors, as well as those people who are willing to donate their blood among affiliated hospitals. The team received a cash prize worth 50,000 PHP.
And lastly, the third place went to Lean Asset which is an up and running GPS fleet management system which is useful for companies that rely much on transportation in their business. The team received a cash prize worth 20,000 PHP.
