AIESEC ^[1], a student-run organization, has already started its move of giving the opportunity among fresh graduates of the information technology field or to those who had already graduated, the privilege to gain internship opportunities at an international level.

With AIESEC Philippines’ International Tech Talent Program, the Filipino youth will be a step closer in hugging international internship opportunities. The hallmark for this program began on January 2013 and its campaign will end on February 25. The said program is supported by AIESEC’s exchange partners and they are the Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Tata Consultancy Group, Alcatel-Lucent and other IT company partners in 112 countries.

AIESEC Philippines is looking for the right individuals who can join their internship program. They want individuals who have the talent and skills with regards to software programming, web designing, web developing, social media marketing and graphic designing. Graduate or graduate tech individuals when chosen, will have the chance to gain internship opportunities abroad. This internship opportunity is long term and nature. You can greatly hone your personal and professional skills during your exposure among large companies that are working with diverse business projects.

The International Tech Talent Program aims to polish every individual’s talents in order to make them a more competitive person in the technological field. Among the countries you can have your internship are Canada, Colombia, Brazil, Germany, Hungary, Egypt, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Kenya, India, China, Malaysia, Hongkong, and Indonesia.

The internship program’s duration is 3 months up to 1.5 years. To be able to be considered in the program, you should be a graduate student with courses related to Information Systems, Computer Science and Computer Engineering. Regarding work experience, you should have at least two work experiences in the field of Information Technology. If you don’t have work experiences yet, they also consider applicants with practical experiences on the different fields of Information Technology.

The areas of work involved are software developer and programmer, web developer and manager, designer, database administrator, network engineer, systems designer and analyst, and quality assurance. When you are qualified for the global internship program, your employer will support you and cover all your expenses during your internship. You will also be given salary depending on your employer.
