1) The Pre-Startup Weekend. I made soft connections and went to tech events before Startup Weekend, asking around who’s going while I’m at it. Highlights from Startup Weekend Manila 2012 #swmanila

swmanila

All updates, photos & highlights will be made within this post. Startup Weekend Manila 2012 starts today with the doors opening at 5:00pm at MINT College where entrepreneurs “pitch” an idea in 60 seconds, people vote for them to choose the best ones and then the pitchers recruit people based on their requirements. The next day, it’s no talk and only action. All the teams work really hard to turn their idea into reality. The final day, Sunday, the teams show off what all they developed and the judges decide the ultimate team, which has an idea which can change the world.

Be sure to catch the live blog right on this page!
